- Secure an Investigator to review witnesses at the scene who may have been intimidated by the police.
- File a complaint with CCRB and/or Internal affairs
- After a wrongful death or assault, time is of the essence. You must move rapidly in order to gather as much original evidence as possible for both a criminal case and a future civil rights case against the police. Pictures are essential while the person is first brought to the hospital. Get pictures of the face and the entire body, focusing on injuries, wounds, bruises, etc.
